Homes along the Guadalupe come with their own considerations. Many are second homes or short-term rentals, which means work often has to be scheduled around booked weekends and finished on a firm date rather than a flexible one. Properties near the water can also carry floodplain considerations that affect what's permitted and how it has to be built.
