Work With River Edge Remodeling in Kerrville, TX

We're a small remodeling and handyman outfit in Kerrville, and we're always interested in hearing from people who take pride in doing the work right. If that sounds like you, tell us about yourself below.

What we're looking for

River Edge is small on purpose. Work is done by people whose name is on it, not handed off to whoever's available that week. That means the people we bring on matter more than they would at a bigger outfit — we'd rather have a short list of good ones than a long roster of bodies.

The most useful thing you can bring is a habit of finishing what you start and telling the truth when something isn't going to plan. Everything else — trim, tile, framing, fixtures — can be taught or sharpened on the job. That part we're glad to do.

Where we usually need help

Crew & general labor

Working alongside Matt on remodels — demo, prep, material handling, and the everyday work that moves a job forward. The right entry point for someone willing to learn the trade properly.

Carpentry & finish work

Trim, cabinetry, built-ins, shelving, and the detail work that decides whether a room looks finished or looks rushed. If you care about how a corner meets a wall, we want to talk.

Tile & flooring

Setting tile, laying plank and laminate, and doing the subfloor prep most flooring problems trace back to. Experience welcome, but a careful hand counts for more than a long résumé.

Handyman & punch-list work

Drywall patches, door adjustments, fixture swaps, trim repair, mounting. Lots of small jobs that all have to be done well — a steady, detail-minded person shines here.

No formal trade license? That's fine. If you've done this kind of work — for another contractor, on your own house, or on a job that taught you to be careful — say so. We've never hired anyone off a diploma. We hire people who show up, listen, and leave a job better than they found it.

Pay starts at $18/hour and depends on your experience. Tell us what you've done and we'll talk about where you'd land.

What the work is actually like

Days are on job sites in and around Kerrville and the surrounding Hill Country. It's hands-on, physical work — up and down ladders, on your feet, in the heat through the summer and in unheated houses through the winter. The pace moves with the job. Some weeks are full-on; some are quieter.

In exchange, you're working directly with the owner, you see a project from start to finish, and you're not just one more body on a big crew where nobody knows your name. If you're building toward doing your own work someday, this is a place to learn it properly.

Tell Us About Yourself

Fill this in and it comes straight to us. There's no long screening process — we'll read it, and if there's a fit we'll follow up to set up a conversation.
